1) Introduction
Santa Magic Call & Tracker (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application, Santa Magic Call & Tracker (the “App”). The App provides family-friendly features such as simulated Santa calls and a fictional Santa tracker map. We designed the App to operate without collecting personal information from users. Advertising within the App is served via Google AdMob, and the map is provided by Apple MapKit; details appear below.
2) Scope & Definitions
This policy applies to the App itself and any in-app content or features made available by Santa Magic Call & Tracker. “Personal information” (or “personal data”) generally refers to information that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual. “Non-personal information” refers to data that does not identify you.
3) At-a-Glance Summary
- No accounts, no logins. We do not require registration or authenticate users.
- No personal data collected by us. We do not collect names, emails, contact lists, photos, precise location, device IDs, or IP addresses.
- Ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may process limited, non-personal data (e.g., approximate region, ad interactions, device attributes) to show and measure ads.
- Maps via Apple MapKit. Used solely to render Santa’s fictional location; we do not request or store your location.
- Family-friendly design. The App is intended for families and children; we do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.
4) Information We Collect
4.1 Information we collect directly
None. The App does not prompt you to enter personal information and does not require an account.
4.2 Information we collect automatically
We do not directly collect or store personal information from your device. We do not log IP addresses, device identifiers, or precise location. The App operates locally and shows pre-recorded or simulated content.
4.3 Information processed by third parties
- Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or infer limited, non-personal information to deliver, cap frequency, and measure ads. Examples include approximate region, ad interactions (impressions, clicks), and general device attributes (e.g., OS version, screen size). See AdMob Privacy & Data.
- Apple MapKit. Used only to display a fictional Santa location. We do not request location permissions and do not store the user’s location.
5) How We Use Information
Since we do not collect personal information, our primary data uses relate to third-party services:
- Ad delivery & measurement (AdMob). Show relevant ads, cap ad frequency, and understand basic ad performance.
- Map display (MapKit). Render maps to illustrate Santa’s fictional route without using your location.
6) Third-Party Services
6.1 Google AdMob
We use AdMob to display ads. AdMob may use identifiers and limited signals to provide, personalize (where allowed), and measure ads. On iOS, Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework and SKAdNetwork may govern what ad data is accessible to AdMob and partners. You can opt out of personalized ads using Apple’s settings (see Managing Preferences).

6.2 Apple MapKit
We use MapKit only to render a fictional Santa location. We do not request “When In Use” or “Always” location permissions and do not store user location.
6.3 Links to Other Sites
The App may provide links to external websites (e.g., our Terms or Support). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third parties. Please review their policies.
7) Legal Bases & Compliance
7.1 GDPR (EU/EEA/UK)
Where AdMob processes limited data within the EEA/UK, the legal basis may include legitimate interests and/or consent (as applicable under Apple’s ATT prompts and any consent dialogs). We do not ourselves process personal data as a controller.
7.2 CCPA/CPRA (California)
We do not sell personal information. If AdMob’s processing is considered a “sale” or “sharing” under CPRA, it is limited to ad delivery/measurement under Google’s policies and platform restrictions. Users can manage ad preferences in iOS settings.
7.3 COPPA (Children in the U.S.)
The App is family-friendly and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Ad experiences are intended to be appropriate for a general audience.
8) Data Retention & Security
We do not retain personal data on our servers. Third parties (e.g., AdMob) may retain limited signals per their own policies. We encourage you to consult their documentation for retention and security practices.
9) Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Because we do not directly collect personal data, requests typically pertain to third-party providers (e.g., Google/AdMob) and device-level controls:
- Access/Deletion: We do not hold personal records to provide or delete.
- Ad Preferences: Use iOS settings to limit ad tracking or personalization.

10) Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required in your country). If you believe a child provided us personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
11) International Transfers
Third-party partners (like AdMob) may process limited data on servers located outside your home country. Such processing is governed by their privacy programs, contracts, and applicable laws.
12) Managing Preferences & Choices
12.1 iOS Settings
- Limit Personalized Ads: On your iOS device, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and turn off personalized ads.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): If prompted, you can choose “Ask App Not to Track.”

13) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. We will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, where required, notify users via in-app notice.
